Most GTA VI pages mix what Rockstar has said with what someone guessed, saw in a leak, or inferred from a frame of a trailer. This one doesn't. Every line below comes from a Rockstar or Take-Two page, restated in our own words, with a link back to the original. If it isn't confirmed, it isn't here.
Anything that could colour how the story lands for you is kept behind a control you open yourself. Dates, platforms and prices stay in the open — nobody needs protecting from a release date.

Take-Two's announcement lists the standard edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99. Those are the US-dollar figures in that release; it states no pricing for other regions.
